How it works, who it’s for, and why your voice matters
WondrVoices is a simple but powerful way to uplift people facing cancer, one message at a time.
We’ve all seen how isolating cancer can be. A diagnosis changes everything, not just for the person receiving it, but for their whole circle of loved ones. And in that swirl of appointments, uncertainty, and fear, people often fall silent. Not because they don’t care, but because they don’t know what to say.
That’s where WondrVoices comes in. It helps fill that silence, with presence, creativity, and care.
Each card is created by someone who took time out of their day to make something for a stranger. A simple message. A kind drawing. A voice that says, “You matter. You’re not alone.”
These gestures are small, but they carry weight. Because when the world feels heavy, even a few thoughtful words can lift something.
How It Works
WondrVoices partners with local spaces we call WondrSpots, cafés, bookstores, art studios, senior centers, pet boutiques, and more. These are places where people naturally gather, pause, and connect.
At each WondrSpot, you’ll find blank postcards and a quiet invitation:Take a moment. Create a message. Share your voice.
Once completed, cards are collected and delivered to people facing cancer across the country.
Who It’s For
WondrVoices is for anyone touched by cancer:
- Patients in treatment
- Survivors finding their footing
- Caregivers carrying so much
- Friends who want to help but don’t know how
- Strangers who simply want to offer something kind
It’s also for communities, because kindness grows when we make space for it, together.
Why It Matters
Cancer can be deeply isolating, not just physically, but emotionally. It can leave people feeling invisible or unsure of how to keep going. And it can leave their loved ones feeling helpless.
WondrVoices offers a way in.Not with perfect words, but with presence. Not to fix what can’t be fixed, but to stand beside it.
Because even a short note can become a lifeline.Even a doodle can feel like a hug.And even a stranger’s voice can remind someone: you still matter.
Why We Call It “Voice”
To us, a voice is more than words.
It’s presence. Intention. Connection.
Each message carries a voice, from a child, a parent, a teacher, a patient, a caregiver, a stranger who understands. Each one offers something different, and together, they create a chorus of empathy and support.
Maybe you’ll send a message.Maybe you’ll host a WondrSpot.Maybe you’ll just draw something. Write something. Say something.
That’s all it takes.
Because your voice can make a difference.
